Bryan: please re-read the story. I never implied that at all. I'm quoting from survey data that shows how the women who responded to that survey apparently find shorter men more attractive when they make more money but don't expect taller men to make even half of that amount. Those results show that the women who participated in that study are pretty shallow.

The men who participated don't look so good either as an unattractive woman to them is still unattractive regardless of how much she makes. At least women can overlook unattractiveness in a man if there's another incentive like income. Men who participated in the study just want an attractive woman by their side, regardless of any other attributes.
