Congratulations on a great score, Ryan! It's even more impressive considering you didn't study 8 hours/day for however many months is "recommended." I also like how you explain how you "hacked" the system without shelling out thousands of dollars for a prep course.

I truly don't think LSAT performance is sufficiently correlated with law school performance to justify how much influence it has on admissions. That's based not just on my personal experience (I did very well on the LSAT but was an average law school student) but also on observations. There are plenty of people who just have a "knack" for standardized testing but who don't succeed in law school (by traditional measures). Still, until they change the system, one's LSAT score continues to play an outsized role.
