I agree with your handbag philosophy but have always been worried about buying used designer bags because there are so many fakes. Now I focus on quality materials and craftsmanship rather than brand name. The fast fashion bags aren’t well constructed or using high quality materials. Yet it’s also hard to find good bags, unless you can find small leather goods stores. Etsy is one option, which I particularly like since it seems to support small business owners more than giant corporations. It’s definitely worth saving up to get a nice bag!
