I had so many mixed emotions reading this. Heartbreak and anger that such young children already find life hopeless. Frustration that our society failed to support these kids when their families couldn’t provide the guidance and stability they needed. Fear that their recklessness will punish innocents by severely injuring or killing bystanders who don’t move out of their way. Sadness that there’s nothing significant being done to prevent the development of the next generation of Kia Boyz. A glimmer of hope that folks like you continue to try to reach these kids and maybe, despite extremely low odds, you might steer one in the right direction and inspire them to try and make the system work. Still, there’s a reason the status quo remains—preserving power and money for those who already have it. Thanks for doing what you can.
