I have to admit I've never looked into Kpop or other music from Asia, Khadejah. But I know colorism and anti-Black racism is more blatant in Asia and am not surprised to hear that some Kpop artists have appropriated cornrows and dreadlocks. We have fellow Americans who are ignorant of Black American history so I'm sure it's worse overseas.

It's hard to separate the artist from the art sometimes, but think your point is valid--individuals can choose what they want to support.
