I love this story, Kerala! I wish I could grant my daughters the confidence and self-assurance to have this mentality before they hit 40, but I know they have to struggle through it themselves. I wish I could just give them a blessing that releases them from the pressure of trying to be a supermom, flattering silver-haired white men, or looking sexy for the male gaze (as opposed to just looking good for themselves).
