I love your point--don't worry, there is no expectation at my otherwise "California casual" office that women wear heels or other fancy footwear. It's just that athletic shoes and flip-flops really aren't business-appropriate. I've worn my Dansko sandals to work in the summer. Those are very comfortable but not weather-appropriate year-round.

My go-to shoes are wedges. They work year-round (I have a cute pair of peep toe wedges) but they're not as comfortable as my Oofos.

If I could find a pair of Oofos with a leather upper (instead of the rubber sandal design like in the photo), I'd wear them.

And my boss (a woman in her 50s) was joking about the bedazzling!
