…erred to me by my first name. I fixed it at our staff meeting. He insisted on calling me ‘Toni,’ and I named him ‘Sugar-plum-honey-bumpkins’ with a straight face throughout the session. Our boss was amused. Finally, Davis called me ‘Crowe,’ and I responded with ‘Davis.’ Problem solved.
You don’t have to answer to what they call you.
