Mark: I hope you did not infer that I was saying #AllMen. I identify as a feminist but that doesn't mean I see all men as idiots. As I pointed out in the piece, many WOMEN have internalized these external standards of beauty. It was my aunts and my mom's friends who encouraged me to get eyelid surgery, not any men.
