Thank you for taking the time to share this. I found it helpful and comforting. I know the few of us who have never had COVID are starting to get it given how contagious this variant is.

My family of 4 has been lucky so far but my daughter's boyfriend just tested positive and we were all surprised (he masks at school when indoors, he's young, athletic, and healthy, he's vax'ed and boosted, etc.). He felt really terrible as he was worried he had exposed us.

Thankfully, we tested negative multiple times now. It's been 6 days and he's only had to deal with congestion so we feel thankful he's doing reasonably well.
