There’s an article that notes a teacher caught the son googling for ammunition. She told the parents and the mom texted her son something like, “I’m not mad but don’t get caught next time.”

The mom’s cavalier attitude toward her son’s interest in ammunition for his handgun is disturbing. I’m a gun owner myself but I would never give a child her own gun that she can easily access anytime nor allow her access to ammunition when we are not on a gun range.
