These are all excellent points, Iory. It's what led us to initially assume Tesla was the best choice because of that network. I will say that despite the significant number of Teslas here in Silicon Valley, I've still heard of supply issues and repair delays. So even though the legacy automakers may have limited batteries and repair delays, I don't know that Tesla has an abundant supply of batteries and service techs, either.

It seems to me that anyone relying on an EV for their only mode of transportation is still going to be anxious about supply and repair delays. I'm thankful we still have my Audi A3 e-tron (the hybrid with a gas tank) as well as a Honda Pilot for the road trips where my husband wants to tow his boat. So for us, we had the luxury of choosing the e-tron and enjoying it for what it is. I will happily update this when we hit our 1 year anniversary and share our thoughts. I can tell you already that it's feeling like it's going to be a "long honeymoon" as my husband continues to rave about how great it is to drive, the acceleration, the convenience of not having to go to a gas station/get an oil change, etc.

Moving to an EV is wonderful!
