These are incredible reflections on the benefits of distance learning and the ability of parents to be more hands-on with their children's learning, Jorge. I just wish it didn't require a stay-at-home parent with the capacity to create a supplemental lesson plan calibrated to each child's needs. My kids are older and they figured out remote learning on their own since both of us work full-time.
I do appreciate the opportunity to have 3 meals a day with them and hear more about what's going on in their classes. But I think the lack of regular in-person social interaction has been the biggest challenge of distance learning and particularly hard for older teens.
